the tick of a clock

Are you really individual ... yes!

In your day-to-day life you will do different things; for example you may have a meeting one day and stay at home the next. You may go out shopping in the morning and visit some friends in the afternoon. Couple watching TV

Each situation places different and unique demands upon your hearing. Other people with hearing difficulties may never go out and may never have visitors. The demands on each person’s hearing are completely individual to them.

The Lifestyle Hearing Assessment Hearing loss does not affect everyone in exactly the same way and so it would seem impossible to assess your hearing using only one method. Because of this, we conduct a Lifestyle Hearing Assessment to identify your particular lifestyle and needs.

This allows us to tailor a solution that is as individual as you are. It is completely painless, informative and some say enlightening.

The four steps to better hearing... Grandfather and child

1

Firstly, we discuss together the areas where you would like to hear better, and also where your hearing loss has had most impact on your life. If possible we ask for your spouse or close relative to be present. This is to gain some idea how it is affecting their life too.

2

Secondly, we establish what level of hearing you have. We do it using the latest hearing assessment technology and equipment, so as to gain the most accurate picture of your hearing that we can - this is a vital ingredient to the success of any solution you may require.

3

Once all of the assessments have been done the results will be explained to you in plain, simple language. This will give you a clear understanding of your hearing... and why it’s affecting your lifestyle.

4

We will discuss together all of the options available to you - giving you the opportunity to experience better hearing there and then. Of course, if a hearing system is not the best solution for you we will advise you on your best course of action.
